Ward was the very first baby born in MonroeLouisiana on 15 April, 1976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian elementary education. For her secondary education, Ward initially attended Ouachita High School. She later transferred into River Oaks High School during the summer immediately following her Junior year. Shortly after her graduation, she attended Northeast Louisiana University. When she was thirteen years old, Ward began modeling leaving school, and then moving to New York in order to accomplish this. After a few years she decided to take up acting. In the 1970s, she was a part-time actress with no credit in the soap opera daytime All My Children. Then she was offered a brief role in NBC's prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. In 2009she was cast in the role of Chloe Kmet kothe mother of one of the gymnas in on the ABC Family drama show Make It or Break It which was part in the principal cast for the show's first two seasons. She was married to David C. Robinson, the producer. They had a child named Cameron.
